Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress that has appeared in multiple television series. VanCamp also has a great record in the field of film. Her fan base is large on American as well as Canadian TV. Emily began to become interested in acting profession when she was just 12. She visited her older sister Katie in the film studio. After discovering her enthusiasm in acting she enrolled herself in acting classes and began auditioning. Her first audition was for a small amount of advertisements and then was selected for Are You afraid of the Dark the Canadian horror film for children. The only part she could get was one with no sound. Her first major breakthrough at 15 when she was cast as a regular in The WB program Glory Days. Emily's acting attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, even though the show came to an end after just nine episodes. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and began to take up photography as well. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. Emily was listed as at number 51 on the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
