April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th day of July. She started guitar and piano lessons from age seven. Her passion for making music was ignited. April's very first song was titled Different which she composed when she was 12 years old. As a teenager, April spent a lot of her time writing lyrics and practising her music. Later on, she started taking notes along with her father and her father to LA as well as NY. April started to include other subjects in her book Take My Hand to help her friends who were dealing with disabilities, peer pressure or even suicide. Lockhart has a partnership with the well-known clean beauty brand Ilia and is also an influencer in the lifestyle industry with an increasing following of her own. Her birth was without a left hand. It's an aspect of her identity, but that's not the entire story. Lockhart acknowledges her handicap in her Instagram profile but she doesn't put it at the center of the account. Lockhart admits that she goes through various phases in relation to her body. She was uncomfortable in certain clothing that exposed her arms. Nowadays, she can wear whatever she'd like.
